Welcome to the Illinois Society for the Prevention of Blindness

The ISPB was founded in 1916 to prevent the tragedy of needless blindness. Dedicated to the care, protection, and preservation of sight, ISPB programs stress education, eye safety, information and research.

The work of the ISPB is supported by the generosity of individuals, businesses, organizations, corporations, and foundations. ISPB receives no government or United Way support. Contributions, remembrances, wills, bequests, and grants make the ISPB's important work possible. Gifts may also include life insurance, stocks, and bonds.
