Research funds will be available in the year 2008 for projects relating to prevention of blindness.  Interested persons should submit their RFP information by Monday May 5, 2008, no later than 2:00 p.m.

The Illinois Vision Symposium, "Vision and the Aging Eye" was held in Chicago October 31, 2006.  This full day seminar was be co-sponsored by ISPB and Prevent Blindness America.

Healthy Vision Month 2005 Each May, the National Eye Institute of the National Institutes of Health sponsors Healthy Vision Month (HVM) to emphasize the importance of eye health and to continue to make vision a health priority for the Nation. Healthy Vision Month 2005 will focus on vision rehabilitation.
