ISPB ELECTS TWO NEW BOARD MEMBERS

The ISPB Board of Directors elected two new members at the annual meeting for fiscal year, 2003-2004 — Ronald C. May, M.D. and Peter C. St. Aubin. Both will serve a one-year term.

Ronald C. May, M.D., as the immediate past president of the Chicago Ophthalmological Society (COS), will be continuing the tradition of becoming a member of the ISPB Board of Directors.

Dr. May completed his internship (Mixed Surgical) and his residency (Ophthalmology) at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. Currently, he is in partnership at Ophthalmology Partners Ltd., in Deerfield.

Dr. May received the Presidential Award of the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology (IAO) in 1989 and the Honor Award of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) in 1993.

Medical Staff appointments include Condell Medical Center, Highland Park Hospital, Lake Forest Hospital, and at the University of Illinois, College of Medical as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology.

Peter C. St. Aubin, a graduate of Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, is First Vice President and Sales Manager/Fund Management Sales for LaSalle Bank Corporation in Chicago. With his expertise in banking and investments, Mr. Aubin will be a great addition to the Board.

Mr. Aubin is active in the Union League Club of Chicago, Rotary Club International and Horizons for Youth.
