2004 ISPB LECTURESHIP

Chicago Ophthalmological Society (COS)

On behalf of the ISPB Board of Directors, James A. McKechnie, Jr., Executive Director, presented Robert J. Noecker, M.D. with the ISPB Lectureship Award at the Chicago Ophthalmological Society’s 56th Annual Clinic Conference held on May 15, 2004, at Navy Pier in Chicago.

“The Effect of Glaucoma Therapy on the Ocular Surface,” was the topic of Dr. Noecker’s presentation. During a morning session he also gave an informative talk on “Imaging in Glaucoma.”

Dr. Noecker is Director of the Glaucoma Service and Vice Chair at the UPMC Eye Center, Department of Ophthalmology, University of Pittsburgh (Penn.) School of Medicine. He is also Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University.

Dr. Noecker was formerly director of the Glaucoma Service and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Arizona School of Medicine at Tucson.

The Lectureship Award is made possible by an ISPB grant to the COS.
